Salon Policies

At Prickly Pear Hair Co., we are committed to providing exceptional service, beautiful results, and a positive experience for every guest. To ensure fairness for our clients and our team, please review our salon policies below.

Appointment Changes & Cancellations

we Kindly request a minimum of 48 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests.

Appointments cancelled, rescheduled, or missed with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject the following fees:

  • Less than 48 hours' notice: 25% of the scheduled service total

  • Same-day cancellations: 50% of the scheduled service total

  • No-show appointments: 100% of the scheduled service total

These fees help compensate our stylists for the time reserved specifically for you and the lost opportunity to accommodate other clients.

Clients with outstanding cancellation or no-show fees will be required to settle their balance before booking future appointments.

Service Adjustments

Your Satisfaction is important to us.

If you are not completely satisfied with your hair service, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment. We are happy to discuss your concerns and, when appropriate, schedule a complimentary adjustment service.

Adjustment appointments are intended to address the original service performed and must be completed by a Prickly Pear Hair Co. Stylist.

Refund Policy

All services are non- refundable.

Our stylists invest significant time, professional expertise, education, and product into every service we provide. For this reason, we not offer refunds on completed services.

If you have concerns regarding your results, we encourage you to contact us within 7 days so we can assess the situation and work toward a solution through our Adjustment Policy.

Retail Product Policy

Unopened Products

  • Unopened retail products may be returned within 14 days of purchase with proof of receipt for a store Credit.

  • If a product was recommended by a Prickly Pear Hair Co. Stylist and is not the right fit for your hair, please contact us within 14 days of purchase. At management's discretion, we may offer a one-time exchange or store credit toward another retail product or equal value.

Defective or Damaged Products​

  • Products found to be defective, damaged, or faulty may be exchanged for the same product within 30 days of purchase.

Home Care & Product Recommendations

Maintaining your hair between appointments is an important part of achieving  long-lasting results.

Your stylist will recommend professional products, tools, and maintenance routines specifically suited to your hair type, color, and goals. While we strive to create beautiful, lasting results, we cannot guarantee the longevity of your color, tone, style or hair extensions when professional recommendations are not followed or when non-salon-quality products are used.

Factors such as home care, heat styling, swimming, well water, medications, and lifestyle can all impact the longevity of your results

New Client Consultations

All new clients are required to book a complimentary consultation prior to receiving their first color, extensions or chemical service.

This consultation allows us to:

  • Discuss your hair goals and expectations

  • Review your hair history

  • Assess hair condition and integrity

  • Provide accurate pricing and timing estimates

  • Ensure the appropriate service is booked
